The AAAS panel on AI as a Force Multiplier for Conservation and Biodiversity featured PIs from the NSF-funded AI and Biodiversty Change Center: Marta, Justin Kitzes, Laura Pollock, and Tanya Berger-Wolf—the lead PI and the moderator of the discussion. We discussed insights shared on scaling acoustic monitoring, integrating complex biodiversity datasets, and modeling ecological futures to inform data-driven decision-making.
