Research team on avian diversity and vegetation structure gathers in Columbus
Our team convened for the annual in-person meeting on vegetation structure and avian diversity.
Collaborators from The Ohio State University, the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and the Cornell Lab of Ornithology met in Columbus to review progress and plan future work. This NSF-funded project aims to understand how vegetation complexity—quantified using LiDAR—shapes the assembly of bird communities. We had a great time brainstorming new ideas and developing exciting directions for future projects.
